Barium chips are a byproduct of milling and grinding metal operations. Shavings are produced by shaving or cutting metal and then collected for recycling. American Elements specializes in the production of high purity barium chips, with the lowest average grain size possible, for the preparation of pressing and bonding sputtering targets, as well as chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and physical vapor deposition (PVD) processes, including thermal and electron beam (E-Beam) evaporation, low temperature organic evaporation, atomic layer deposition (ALD), and other processes. Applications of Barium Shavings
