ATT Specialty offers seamless barium tubes in a variety of sizes, including round, rectangular, square and oval, with standard diameters from 0.02 to 6.0 inches and wall thicknesses from 0.003 to 0.500 inches. Tubing can be further machined into rings, washers, casing and jackets. Custom configurations are also available. Materials include most metals, including rare earth metals and other advanced materials. Tubes can also be produced with custom alloys for commercial and research applications and new proprietary technologies. Other shapes available include bars or plates, as well as mechanical shapes and forms customized through other processes such as nanoparticles, solutions, and organometallic.

Applications of Barium Tube

Its compounds are used by oil and gas industries to make drilling mud. Drilling mud simplifies drilling through rocks by lubricating the drill. Barium compounds are also used to make paint, bricks, tiles, glass, and rubber. Barium nitrate and chlorate give fireworks a green colour.

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L)s quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
