Product Code : ST-Bi-5N-TA
Bismuth tape is usually used as a strong, lightweight outer coating. In addition, tape can act as an adhesive to hold two objects together. ATT produces a number of standard grades where applicable, including the Mil Spec(military grade); ACS, reagents and technical grades; Food, agriculture and pharmaceutical grades; Optical grades, USP and EP/BP(European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia), and follow applicable ASTM test standards. ATT specializes in the production of bismuth high purity tapes and sheets in a variety of thicknesses and sizes for a variety of industrial uses and provides health and occupational safety information for this product. Most tapes are produced from ingots for coating and film chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and physical vapor deposition (PVD) processes, including thermal and electron beam (E-Beam) evaporation, low temperature organic evaporation, atomic layer deposition (ALD), organometallic and chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) for specific applications such as fuel cells and solar energy. Bismuth strips are usually long, thin strips of metallic bismuth. All metals range in thickness from 0.003 "to about 2mm. Some metals can also be rolled as thin as 0.001 "and are used as evaporation sources for microelectronics, optical, magnetic, MEMS, and hard-resistant coatings. Sheet size up to a maximum width of approximately 7 ". For film deposition on a glass or metal substrate, a maximum length of about 20" can be obtained, with a nominal thickness between about 0.005" and 0.020". Materials are produced by ultra-high purification processes such as crystallization, solid state and sublimation. ATT specializes in the production of custom compositions for commercial and research applications as well as new proprietary technologies. ATT also casts any rare earth metal and most other advanced materials into bars, rods or plates, and other mechanical shapes, and in solution and organometrics through other processes such as nanoparticles. We also produce bismuth rods, bismuth powder and bismuth plates. Other shapes are available upon request. Bismuth tape is used as a protective coating for a variety of materials. Tape is also used for packaging applications.
ATT is a professional supplier of Bismuth Tape, and we also produce discs, pellets, ingots, pellets, sheets, powders, rods, wires, sputtering targets, and many other forms and custom shapes. Other shapes are available upon request.

Applications of Bismuth Tape
Bismuth Tape is commonly used as a strong light weight outer coating. Additionally, tapes can serve as adhesives that bond two objects together.
Packing of Bismuth Tape
Standard Packing:
Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
ATTs’Bismuth Tape is carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition.
