Copper boron is one of the many metal alloys sold by ATT. Usually immediately available in most rolls, ATT comes in rod, ingot, ribbon, string, shrapnel, sheet, and foil forms. Ultra-high purity and high purity forms also include metal powders, submicron powders and nanoscale, targets for thin film deposition, and particles for chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and physical vapor deposition (PVD) applications. ATT produces a number of standard grades where applicable, including the Mil Spec(military grade); ACS, reagents and technical grades; Food, agriculture and pharmaceutical grades; Optical grades, USP and EP/BP(European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia), and follow applicable ASTM test standards. Typical and custom packaging is available. Major applications include bearing assemblies, ballasts, casting, step welding and radiation shielding.

Applications of Copper Boron Alloy
Amorphous boron is used as a rocket fuel igniter and in pyrotechnic flares. It gives the flares a distinctive green colour. The most important compounds of boron are boric (or boracic) acid, borax (sodium borate) and boric oxide. These can be found in eye drops, mild antiseptics, washing powders and tile glazes.
