Copper is a ductile metal with very high thermal and electrical conductivity. Pure copper is rather soft and malleable and a freshly exposed surface has a pinkish or peach color. It is often used as a thermal conductor, and electrical conductor, building material, and composition of various alloys. The copper foil itself has a very flat shape and can be perfectly molded to other materials. The copper foil is also resistant to high-temperature oxidation and corrosion, making it suitable for use in harsh environments or for products with strict material life requirements. As a master alloy, cerium-copper can be used for grain refining, hardening, and improving copper alloy performance by enhancing properties such as ductility and machinability. Typical ulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
