Lanthanum Titanate (LaTiO3) is an inorganic compound that is used as an evaporation material due mainly to its very high vapor pressure, low vapor pressure when heated to high temperatures, and low vapor pressure at low temperatures. It has a wide range of applications in thin film technology, such as precision optics, photovoltaic cells, composite materials, and microelectronics. It can be used in the manufacture of optical coatings, as it demonstrates moderately good transparency in the UV, visible, and near infrared spectrum.
