Praseodymium titanate (PrTiO3) is a transition metal oxide with a general formula of M2+Ti4+O3. It is a cubic material which crystallizes in the parent structure with the space group Pm-3m. PrTiO3 typically has an 8 atom basis with two equivalent Pr3+ cations in the octahedral sites and four equivalent Ti4+ cations in the tetrahedral sites. PrTiO3 is generally prepared from the reaction of PrTiO4 with Pr metal or metal alloys at high temperature.

PrTiO3 is used as an evaporation material in vacuum thin-film deposition techniques. It can be used to deposit thin films of PrTiO3 on to various substrates including glass and metal, as well as other dielectric substrates such as Al203, SiO2, and Si3N4. Films of PrTiO3 deposited by evaporation are seen to have a range of applications, including but not limited to, access window layers in semiconductor devices, transparent conductive oxide layers, dielectric passivations layers, and filter layers.
