Product Code : ME-In-6N-PL
Indium is a white metal with a very soft texture and excellent plasticity and ductility. It has cold weldability and can adhere to other metals when rubbing. It is a single crystal with no pores. Liquid indium has excellent liquidity. At room temperature, indium is not oxidized by air. However, at about 100°C, indium begins to oxidize. At high temperature (above 800°C), indium burns to form indium oxide. The flame is blue red. Indium is not harmful to human body, but soluble compounds are toxic.
ATT specializes in producing high purity uniform shaped Indium Pellets with the highest possible density and smallest possible average grain sizes for use in semiconductor, Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) processes including Thermal and Electron Beam (E-Beam) Evaporation, Low Temperature Organic Evaporation, Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), Metallic-Organic and Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD). Our standard Pellet sizes range from 1/8" x 1/8" to 1/4" x 1/4" and 3 mm diameter. We can also provide Pellets outside this range for ultra high purity thin film applications, such as fuel cells and solar energy layers. Materials are produced using crystallization, solid state and other ultra high purification processes such as sublimation.

Applications of Indium Pellets
Indium compounds are evaporated under vacuum to form thin films in the production of electronics and photovoltaic cells. Pure indium is utilized as a film layer in semiconductors.Packing of Indium Pellets
Standard Packing:
Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
ATTs’ Indium Pellets is carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition.
