Product Code : AL-Ir-CU
Iridium Acetylacetonate (CAS: 15635-87-7) is a kind of orange powder, which is used as a catalyst for hydrogenation of sulfur-containing aromatics. It is a strong photoreducing agent for phenylpyridine aqueous solution. It has also been widely used as the base material for the engines of missiles, rockets, cruisers, automobiles, etc.
Iridium Acetylacetonate is a Iridium source that is soluble in organic solvents as an organometallic compound (also known as metalorganic, organo-inorganic and metallo-organic Acetylacetonate Packaging, Lab Quantitycompounds). The high purity acetylacetonate anion complexes by bonding each oxygen atom to the metallic cation to form a chelate ring; because of this property, acetylacetonates are commonly used in various catalysts and catalytic reagents for organic synthesis, including the fabrication of various shapes of carbon nanostructures (as demonstrated by a 2013 experiment by researchers at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden) via the use of chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and laser evaporation techniques. It is generally immediately available in most volumes. Ultra high purity and high purity forms may be considered.
ATT is a professional supplier of Iridium Acetylacetonate, We also produce disc, granules, ingot, pellets, pieces, powder, rod, wire, sputtering target and in numerous other forms and custom shapes. Other shapes are available by request.

Applications of Iridium Acetylacetonate
With Ir(acac)3 as the precursor, the coating is prepared by MOCVD technology, which has been widely used as the base material for the engines of missiles, rockets, cruisers, automobiles, etc.
Using Ir(acac)3 as the deposition source, the Ir-C cluster film is prepared on the ZrO2 substrate, which has excellent electrochemical performance.
Ir(acac)3 is used as a catalyst for hydrogenation of sulfur-containing aromatics.
Ir(acac)3 is a strong photoreducing agent for phenylpyridine aqueous solution.
Packing of Iridium Acetylacetonate
