ATT specializes in the production of high-purity lead powder with minimum average grain size for the preparation of pressing and bonding sputtering targets, as well as chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and physical vapor deposition (PVD) processes, including thermal and electron beam (E-Beam) evaporation, low temperature organic evaporation, atomic layer deposition (ALD), metal-organic and chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD). Powders are also useful in any application that requires a high surface area, such as water treatment, fuel cells, and solar energy applications. Nanoparticles can also produce very high surface areas. Our standard powder sizes average -325 mesh, -100 mesh, 10-50 micron and submicron (< 1 micron). We can also provide many nanoscale materials. ATT produces a number of standard grades where applicable, including the Mil Spec(military grade); ACS, reagent and technical grade; Food, agricultural and pharmaceutical grades; Optical grades, USP and EP/BP(European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia), and follow applicable ASTM test standards. Typical and custom packaging is available. We also produce lead rods, ingots, pieces, balls, discs, balls, threads and composite forms such as oxides. Other shapes are available upon request.

Applications of Lead Powder
Lead is still widely used for car batteries, pigments, ammunition, cable sheathing, weights for lifting, weight belts for diving, lead crystal glass, radiation protection and in some solders. It is often used to store corrosive liquids.

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L)s quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
