Lithium is used as an alloying agent with aluminium and magnesium, and in the manufacture of batteries. Compounds of lithium are used in various applications; for example, lithium 12-hydroxy stearate is used in high performance greases as it provides good water resistance and good low temperature performance; lithium hydride is a strong reducing agent and is used as a source of hydrogen, and lithium carbonate is used as a tranquiliser and in the treatment of some mental illnesses. Lithium and its compounds also find applications in the manufacture of glass and ceramics. Lithium Metal is available as disc, granules, ingot, pellets, pieces, powder , rod, wire, and sputtering target. Applications of Lithium Foil
The surface is straight and bright, free of oil spots and other foreign matter, no visible oxides and nitrides, no holes, wrinkles, creases and other defects, and slight processing stripes and roll marks are allowed. Because the pure metallic lithium belt is soft, adding a certain proportion of Al metal can increase the hardness of metallic lithium. This product is widely used in high-energy lithium primary and secondary battery anode materials, and is also one of the core materials of lithium-ion solid-state batteries and semi-solid batteries. The prepared metal lithium battery is small in size, large in capacity, and has no memory effect.

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities.
