Magnesium Aluminum Zinc Alloys are a common type of heat-treatable commercial alloy often used in structural components and metallurgical coatings due to their light weight and high resistance to corrosion. ATT manufactures magnesium aluminum zinc in varying ratios such as high magnesium (96% Mg, 3% Al, 1% Zn (magnesium AZ31B), and 93% Mg 6% Al, 1% Zn (magnesium AZ61A), high aluminum (0.7-3.4% Mg, 0.8-8.2% Zn, balance Al), or high zinc (93.5% Zn, 3.5% Al, 3% Mg), in addition to custom compositions. Magnesium aluminum zinc is available in a number of different forms, including foils, rods, and other shapes in a range of sizes and dimensions. Magnesium aluminum zinc alloy is generally immediately available in most volumes, including bulk quantities. ATT can produce most materials in high purity and ultra high purity (up to 99.99999%) forms and follows applicable ASTM testing standards; a range of grades are available including Mil Spec (military grade), ACS, Reagent and Technical Grade, Food, Agricultural and Pharmaceutical Grade, Optical Grade, USP and EP/BP (European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia). Applications of Magnesium Aluminum Zinc Alloy
Used to refine the grain of magnesium alloy and improve the strength of magnesium alloy.The magnesium calcium alloy is primarily used in the removal of bismuth from lead for refinement purposes. The alkaline elements in the alloy react with the molten lead under controlled conditions.

Standard Packing:
Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
