Nickel Magnesium Alloy is a nickel alloy containing magnesium with Iron and Rare Earth Metal. It is used as a spheroidizer in ductile iron. The presence of rare earth metals such as cerium eliminates the harmful effect caused by the presence of impurities including Ti, Bi, Sb and Pb.
Nickel Magnesium Iron Cerium is one of numerous high purity rare earth alloys manufactured by ATT. As a master alloy, NiMgFeCe can be used for grain refining, hardening, and improving alloy performance by enhancing properties such as ductility and machinability. Used to refine the grain of magnesium alloy and improve the strength of magnesium alloy.The magnesium calcium alloy is primarily used in the removal of bismuth from lead for refinement purposes. The alkaline elements in the alloy react with the molten lead under controlled conditions.
