Molybdenum is a structural constituent of molybdopterin, a cofactor synthesized by the body and required for the function of four enzymes: sulfite oxidase, xanthine oxidase, aldehyde oxidase, and mitochondrial amidoxime reducing component (mARC).
Hastelloy B-3 Wire gives excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures from ambient to high. It also withstands sulphuric, acetic, formic, and phosphoric acids and other non-oxidizing media. B-3 also has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion and to stress-corrosion cracking. Hastelloy B-3 is not recommended in the presence of ferric or cupric salts. This Nickel-Molybdenum alloy gives excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures from ambient to high. Standard Packing:
Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
