Applications of Niobium Zirconium Alloy
• Used for the manufacturing of reaction vessels.
• Used in equipment that is resistant to nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid.
• Used in high pressure sodium lamp.
Nb1Zr is widely applied in atomic energy industry and high pressure sodium lamps for its small thermal neutron capture section and strong liquid metal corrosion resistances. Nb1Zr alloy can be used as internal component of the reactor and package material. The alloys of Nb1Zr can also be processed into small parts with high thermal properties, fine formability and corrosion resistance of sodium, which are applied in high-efficiency and high-strength sodium vapor streetlamps with high precision stents.
Packing of Niobium Zirconium Alloy
Standard Packing:
Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
ATTs’ Niobium Zirconium Alloy is carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition.
