Scandium acetate is a medium water-soluble source of crystalline scandium, which is decomposed into scandium oxide after heating. It is usually immediately available in most volumes. All metal acetogens are inorganic salts containing one metal cation and one acetic acid anion, which is a univalent (-1 charge) polyatomic ion consisting of two carbon atoms combined with three hydrogen and two oxygen atoms (symbol :CH3COO) ions, with a total molecular weight of 59.05. Acetate is an excellent precursor for the production of ultra-high purity compounds, catalysts and nanoscale materials. We also produce scandium acetate solutions. ATT produces a number of standard grades where applicable, including the Mil Spec(military grade); ACS, reagents and technical grades; Food, agriculture and pharmaceutical grades; Optical grades, USP and EP/BP(European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia), and follow applicable ASTM test standards.
