Selenium sputtering target is a material that is used to coat or treat other materials using a sputtering technique. It is generally formed as thin layers of material, which are then released onto the surface of a substrate. This is accomplished by accelerating Selenium ions in a magnetically contained plasma, which causes them to collide with the substrate and stick to it. The two most common types of sputtering targets are evaporative and reactive sputtering.
