ATT produces the densest metal, strontium ingot. Ingots are generally the cheapest form of metal and are useful in general applications. Our standard ingot sizes are usually 2-3 cm x 3-8 cm x 6-12 cm. The material is produced by ultra-high purification process such as crystallization, solid state and sublimation. ATT specializes in the production of custom compositions for commercial and research applications as well as new proprietary technologies. ATT also casts any rare earth metal and most other advanced materials into bars, rods, or sheets, as well as other mechanical shapes, and is cast in solution and organic metrology by other processes, such as nanoparticles. We can also offer a small range of individual pieces and samples. ATT produces a number of standard grades where applicable, including the Mil Spec(military grade); ACS, reagent and technical grade; Food, agricultural and pharmaceutical grades; Optical grades, USP and EP/BP(European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia), and follow applicable ASTM test standards. Typical and custom packaging is available. We also produce strontium in rod, granular, powder, sheet, disc, granular, linear and oxide compound forms. Other shapes are available upon request.

Applications of Strontium Ingot

A soft, silvery metal that burns in air and reacts with water. Strontium is best known for the brilliant reds its salts give to fireworks and flares. It is also used in producing ferrite magnets and refining zinc. Modern 'glow-in-the-dark' paints and plastics contain strontium aluminate.

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L)s quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
