Product Code : ME-Ta-5N-PO
Tantalum is a chemical element with the symbol Ta and atomic number 73. Previously known as tantalium, Tantalum is a very hard, ductile, lustrous, blue-gray transition metal that is highly corrosion-resistant.
ATT offers high-quality capacitor grade tantalum powder (4V-40V) produced using sodium reduction processes. Tantalum has twice the density of steel and it is highly ductile. It has the fourth-highest melting point of all metals and is able to form extremely thin and protective oxide layers for high-quality capacitors. Our powder also has a high surface area and great handling and flow properties.
Tantalum Capacitor Powder is a high-performing, cost-effective alternative to ceramin and aluminum-based capacitor materials. Niobium monoxide capacitor powder is generally immediately available in most volumes, including bulk orders. ATT can produce materials to custom specifications by request, in addition to custom compositions for commercial and research applications and new proprietary technologies. ATT also casts any of the rare earth metals and most other advanced materials into rod, bar or plate form, as well as numerous other machined shapes, nanomaterials, and in the form of solutions and organometallic compounds. ATT produces to many standard grades when applicable, including Mil Spec (military grade); ACS, Reagent and Technical Grade; Food, Agricultural and Pharmaceutical Grade; Optical Grade, USP and EP/BP (European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia) and follows applicable ASTM testing standards. Typical and custom packaging is available. Additional technical, research and safety (MSDS) information is available as is a Reference Calculator for converting relevant units of measurement.
ATT is a professional supplier of Capacitor Grade Tantalum Powder (4V-40V), We also produce disc, granules, ingot, pellets, pieces, powder , rod, wire, sputtering target and in numerous other forms and custom shapes. Other shapes are available by request.
