Product Code : ME-Ta-5N-RB
Tantalum is a chemical element with the symbol Ta and atomic number 73. Previously known as tantalium, Tantalum is a very hard, ductile, lustrous, blue-gray transition metal that is highly corrosion-resistant.
Tantalum ribbon is a dark blue-gray tantalum metal that is very heavy, ductile, and hard and has high corrosion resistance. Tantalum is especially resistant to chemicals at temperatures below 150 °C and can only be dissolved with hydrofluoric acid. Ta ribbon has the fourth-highest melting point of all metals and is able to form extremely thin and protective oxide layers for high-quality capacitors, making it an excellent material for ribbons. Tantalum Ribbon takes hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen from the atmosphere and is particularly suitable for vacuum applications in the lighting industry.
ATT specializes in producing Tantalum Ribbons in various thicknesses and sizes. Most ribbon is rolled for use in coating and thin film Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) processes including Thermal and Electron Beam (E-Beam) Evaporation, Low Temperature Organic Evaporation, Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), Organometallic and Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) for specific applications such as fuel cells and solar energy . Thicknesses up to 0.02" and widths up to 1" are available for most metals. Materials are produced using crystallization , solid state and other ultra high purification processes such as sublimation. ATT specializes in producing custom compositions for commercial and research applications and for new proprietary technologies. ATT also casts any of the rare earth metals and most other advanced materials into rod, bar or plate form , as well as other machined shapes and through other processes such as nanoparticles and in the form of solutions and organometallics . We also produce Tantalum as rods, powder and plates.
ATT is a professional supplier of ,We also produce disc, granules, ingot, pellets, pieces, powder , rod, wire, sputtering target and in numerous other forms and custom shapes. Other shapes are available by request.
