Product Code : AL-TaW-Ta90W10-GR
Tantalum Tungsten Alloy excels due to its sensible mechanical properties and glorious corrosion resistance. 97.5% Tantalum 2.5% Tungsten (Ta-2.5W) alloy is widely applied in chemical industry. The corrosion resistance of tantalum-tungsten alloy is better than pure tantalum. Ta2.5W can be used as the corrosion protection component of heat exchange equipment in chemical industry, pipe and lining, anti-corrosion of instrument and instrument, crucible of rare earth smelting, etc. The addition of 2.5 % to 10 % tungsten to tantalum increases the strength of the material, and the alloying of tungsten to tantalum forms an alternative continuous solid solution that still maintains the body-centered cubic crystal structure of tantalum, while also maintaining the easy processing properties of tantalum. Tantalum alloys that are currently widely used in industry include Ta-2.5W, TaW10, TaW12, and Ta-7.5W.

• Used to manufacture of super alloys and electron-beam melting
• Used as heat- and corrosion-resistant alloy additives.
Packing of Tantalum Tungsten Granules
Standard Packing:
Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
ATTs’Tantalum Tungsten Granules are carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition.
