Product Code : RE-Tm-5N-CU
Thulium is a silver-white metal, ductile, soft, and can be cut with a knife; the melting point is 1545°C, the boiling point is 1947°C, and the density is 9.3208. Thulium is relatively stable in the air; thulium oxide is a pale green crystal. Silver-white metal, soft in nature, has a high vapor pressure at the melting point. Salt (divalent salt) oxides are light green.
Thulium Metal is available as disc, granules, ingot, pellets, pieces, powder , rod, sputtering target, wire, and in numerous other forms and custom shapes. Ultra high purity and high purity forms also include metal powder, submicron powder and nanoscale, quantum dots, targets for thin film deposition, pellets for evaporation and single crystal or polycrystalline forms. Elements can also be introduced into alloys or other systems as fluorides, oxides or chlorides or as solutions. Thulium metal is generally immediately available in most volumes.

Thulium (Tm) Metal Applications
Thulium Metal is mainly used in making superalloys and has some application in ferrites (ceramic magnetic materials) used in microwave equipment and also as a radiation source of portable X-rays. Thulium potentially has used in ferrites, ceramic magnetic materials that are used in microwave equipment. it is used in arc lighting for its unusual spectrum. Thulium Metal can be further processed into various shapes of ingots, pieces, wires, foils, slabs, rods, discs, and powder.
Packing of Thulium (Tm) Metal
Standard Packing:
Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
ATTs’Thulium (Tm) Metal is carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition.
