Tantalum Marker Bands

Product Code : ME-Ta-5N-BD

Tantalum is a chemical element with the symbol Ta and atomic number 73. Previously known as tantalium, Tantalum is a very hard, ductile, lustrous, blue-gray transition metal that is highly corrosion-resistant.

High-quality tantalum marker bands can be bought at Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM). All marker bands are precisely manufactured and cut to length according to your request. Marker band fabrication is the production of metal cut tubing. Our tantalum marker bands can be cut in a variety of lengths and diameters according to customer specifications. Marker bands are made by cutting small tubing (tantalum & platinum-iridium capillary) which can be used as radiopaque markers during angioplasty and other minimally-invasive catheter procedures.

ATT precision manufactures Tantalum Marker Bands cut to customer specifications from thin-walled seamless tantalum tubes in a variety of lengths and diameters. Marker bands are used in the medical industry to provide radiopaque marking for catheter tubes and sensors during angioplasty and other procedures. Typical dimensions for marker bands include diameters from 0.2-8.0 mm, wall thicknesses of 0.015-0.5mm, and lengths ranging from 0.2mm up to 25 mm. ATT can produce most materials in high purity and ultra high purity (up to 99.99999%) forms and follows applicable ASTM testing standards; a range of grades are available including Mil Spec (military grade), ACS, Reagent and Technical Grade, Food, Agricultural and Pharmaceutical Grade, Optical Grade, USP and EP/BP (European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia). Typical and custom packaging is available, as is additional research, technical and safety (MSDS) data.

ATT is a professional supplier of Tantalum Marker Bands, We also produce disc, granules, ingot, pellets, pieces, powder , rod, wire, sputtering target and in numerous other forms and custom shapes. Other shapes are available by request.
