Applications of Tungsten Wire
*Tungsten wire is widely used for producing electric light source parts and electric vacuum components, heating elements, and refractory parts in high-temperature furnaces.
*Tungsten wire can withstand high temperatures and corrosion, it is used as heating material for high-temperature resistance furnaces, heating elements, automotive, aerospace, and wire-cutting machines.
*Tungsten wire also can be applied to electronic tube sockets, stent filament incandescent lamps, halogen lamps, discharge tube sealing material, lead wire, tungsten filament with the mandrel, and the grid.
*Tungsten wire can be used as a cathode and spray.
Packaging of Tungsten Wire
Standard Packing:
Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
ATTs’ Tungsten Wire is carefully handled to minimize damage during storage and transportation and to preserve the quality of our products in their original condition.
